Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are now open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house having a combined gross home earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic money would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and need not post any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the proper Identification Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out nsfas status or intend to study in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to here wait until the last day.
